What foods do they love, and what foods do they refuse to eat?

YUM: loves seafood and sweets (cakes!! cookies!! Particularly chocolate flavoured). Alcohol.

Naaah: not really a picky eater but anything that’s still wiggling, it’s gotta be dead my dude.

What is their weapon of choice, and what weapon do they dislike using the most?

Sword, great sword (EMBIGGENED SWORD!!)

Doesn’t like to use tomes or daggers, it feels confusing to use a book offensively besides literally throwing it and the feel of a dagger is all wrong so (wiggles)

What is their preferred method of transportation?

FLYINGG!!! He loves airships, the sky above and below, and the feeling of wind.

Who did they look up to the most as a child? Who do they look up to as an adult?

As a child: eldest (now estranged) brother

What kind of weather makes them happy, and what kind makes them sad?

Good weather: Sunny warm days (reminds him of home)

Not so good weather: overcast days (looking at you ishgard)

What languages do they speak? Do they have any idiosyncrasies or identifiable patterns of speech, word usages, etc?

C..common??? Whatever everyone speaks. Also conversationally fluent in the miqo’te language but may stumble if it’s not a commonly used word.

Speech pattern is fairly informal, frequently uses contractions. Gets really awkward if he has to be formal. Defaults to his patron for deity-based curses

What clothing do they like to wear, and what do they wear most often?

Likes:

• Long-mid length coats with collars popped (wwheehehehhe flappy)

• half-gloves and fingerless gloves (he likes keeping his hands covered but still likes having some feeling)

• leather boots with a bit of heel (he’s a lil self conscious that he’s not as tall as his brother)

• soft scarves (nice feel).

• Doesnt like to wear shirts LOL if he does he’ll leave it open or unbuttoned

• Ideally: dark blue. Or deep red. Black. He dislikes wearing light colours.

Usual gear: uraeus coat, tataru’s pumped up kicks, songbird gloves, Leather Pants wwwwww

Do they eat a healthy diet? A varied one?

fairly...healthy he’s a hungry lad who appreciates good food. he’ll get bored if he eats the same thing over and over again so yeah……..variety

 

As a child, what did they want to be when they grew up? Did they realize their dream?

safe/secure: blankets (especially a huge pile of them), scratches behind the ears, shoulder rubs

insecure/unsafe: caves (he needs the sky above him),

He goes to sleep. It’ll be fine when he wakes up (right???)

 

Do they sing or play any musical instruments, even if just for fun? How well?

Sings passably and can hold a tune but sounds even better when drunk.

Doesn’t play any instruments except the danger bongos

What are they like when they are drunk?

Super social and bubbly with sudden bouts of extreme quiet and  stillness (time for more)

Extremely affectionate and vocal. Cheeks (...and...ears nya) go red when he’s buzzed

Where in their body do they keep stress or tension?

Shoulders.

What do they think about where they currently live? If they could move elsewhere, would they?

Current home base is 60/40 split (something like that) between ishgard inn rooms + fortemps manor and the lavender beds. Ishgard is cold and overcast and it snows too damn much but the people are warm and it’s central to places he likes to frequent. Lavender beds is where friends hang out so he likes it (the flowers...are nice..the sky is nice) but it’s a little out of the way.

He thinks about returning to ul’dah someday but can’t quite forget all that happened… still feels wrong, even if family is there.

 

Do they have any pet peeves or petty dislikes, and how do they react to encountering them?

Stares spitefully at that one fuzzy sheep that rammed (hah) into him as a kid, he doesn’t like them now for that reason alone.

(idk how to answer this for reals but uh) he’ll pretend it doesn’t exist. What was that, the wind?

Silk, leather. Polished metal (smooth!!). Engravings and embossings (feels nice to run hands over while thinking, a good sensation)

 

Do they like to travel? How do they pack and prepare?

YEAH!!! He throws what he likes into a pack (read: it may not be what he needs) half an hour before he’s gotta go and just runs out the door. He’ll either live without what he forgets or pick it up along the way (and lose it by the end of the trip).

How well do they take criticism? How do they react to others noticing their flaws?

(cat ears go down) o-okay!! I see, i’ll try to fix it (wondering to himself, have i been doing something wrong this whole time???). He tries to take it in stride, and if its something that’s offended someone, he’ll genuinely try to fix...whatever it is (he wants to be a good)

What are they like when they get sick? Do they have a particular system (ears, lungs, etc) that illness gravitates to?

Warm drinks (preferably sweet) like mulled wine.

How do they react to being physically injured or undergoing medical treatment?

Denies that he needs treatment until he’s knocked flat out (it’s fine! I’m still up, i’m f--), then apologetically accepts help. He’ll run away and jump back into action when he can move though.

What do their hands look and feel like?

Calloused, nicked with little scars from careless sword shenanigans. He runs hot so his hands are on the warm side. Keeps claws (nails!??) clipped short.

How much do they eat, and how often? Do they drink appetite suppressants (tea, coffee, etc)?

Three square meals a day with snacks and afternoon tea.

Tea is nice with meal but alcohol is even better!! (though maybe not with breakfast)

Do they have children? Do they want children? What names would they choose?

Have kids: nope

Want kids: maybe - it’s not feasible given his current occupation.

What names: Muriel (for a daughter). He’d pick something starting with his mother’s tribe name (M) for the sake of preserving some sort of family connection.

What is a gift that they have received that was especially touching or significant?

A black chocobo. House Fortemps shield.

How do they arrange or decorate their living space?

Doesn’t. If left up to his own devices, his living space is clean but chaotic. Also hoards things so a bit cluttered. If he’s imposing upon someone/it’s not his space, he’ll keep it the way it was presented to him (the chaos is contained and easily removed).

Do they have any allergies or chronic conditions?
